I am a casual fellow who enjoys great conversation and good coffee. However, I am no stranger to adventure, recently ziplined in Costa Rica.
Many would see me as a gentleman and a professional from sole to crown, as I know well how to conduct myself in formal settings. I often lead professional meetings and participate in society functions. I am at home in these environments and know well the etiquette for all. I not only look the part, but I behave in the appropriate manner suitable for the occasion.
However, I am a country guy as well, essentially loving the open fields and countryside. I take aimless, one-tank trips to nowhere in my Ford pick-up truck, discovering the immediate world in which I live. I attempt to understand myself and my place in the world. I occasionally discover patches of field that remind me of my childhood and stretches of land where I can envision planting roots. You might find my Ford F-150 parked roadside nearby a pond or creek, where I've stopped to throw a line in the water to see what is biting. These rambling trips sometimes result in the occasional pickup as well. That is, I pick up an odd piece of vintage furniture or obscure curiosity piece at a flea market.
Seeking a fun conversationalist who enjoys dinners out, cinema, travel, and activities off the beaten path.

The one I am seeking is a lady, not a woman or a girl. I am seeking someone mature and pleasant, not aggressive or abrasive or lacking emotional development.

I am also a beach boy at heart and in practice. I love the lull of the ocean current, particularly at night. I frequent the beach when convenient in summer and winter. I love to surf fish and an occasional dip in the surf. I am a collector of shells and pebbles; I don't know just yet what I will do with the obscure colored and shaped shells and stones, but I have them just in case.
And, I am sufficient in the kitchen. I must declare that I am not proficient in French, Italian, or Greek cuisine. However, I can prepare simple fare such as deep dish apple pie, oven roasted chicken, sautéed potatoes, and wine-poached green beans. I consider myself a "low country" cook, not a chef.
