Hi, my name is Taren. I'm a young mom with a love of rockabilly, classic cars, and anything 50's. I’m not big on bars or the rest of the “dating scene” so I thought this might be the place to find a more like-minded date.

Have you ever had a moment where you wake up and wonder how on earth you got where you are? That’s me lately. I’m not where I planned to be somehow. I wouldn’t change a thing. Really. I just have a little vertigo ‘cause I didn’t plan on this particular perch.

I'm not your typical girl. I love cars and like nothing better than helping out in the garage. I see myself as a modern 50's woman. I have eyes that can't lie, but a smile that could fool you. I'm independent in many ways and don’t need someone to take care of me--and I’d like a man who can take care of himself. I’m a mom, yes, but only to my kids. Most importantly, I may see things in black and white, but I live my life in shades of gray.

It's really important to me that the person I find likes kids. In fact, I’d like to find a partner who has kids. It might be hard to relate to me if you aren’t a parent. I’m not looking for a dad for my kids, but they are a huge part of my life and have helped form who I am. We have to get along with each other’s children to make a go of it, don’t you think?
