I am a college student getting my Bachelors degree in Environmental Science. Creative writing is my real passion. I really like to cuddle. Adventures are the best.

On my free time I usually read and write. I used to do a lot of painting too, but not recently. Some of my favorite authors are Issac Asimov, Larry Niven, Kurt Vonnegut, and Langston Hughes. I like being outside, with nature. If it is a nice day or I feel like being showered in cold rain, I will go out on a hike and find a good place to write. Some of my favorite places to go are the Gorge, Lacamas lake, and some select locations at Vancouver lake (there is a great covered area in the middle of a field that has a power outlet, I go there often). I am a very impromptu person, I set a goal and just go out and do it. My group of friends know how to adventure. I also like to tool around in Portland after work to avoid rush hour traffic. And, while I do not play them as often as I used to, I like to play video games with my group of friends when we have the time. Oh, and hang out with my Louie cat :) Right now he is "helping" me type.

I'm really interested in Forestry. In the past I have considered Psychology, Sociology, , Journalism, and Horticulture. All of them have led me closer to my current profession, in some way or another. I am currently looking at degrees that are more relevant to forestry than Environmental Science, such as (drum-roll) Forestry.

In a relationship, I want to be with someone who accepts me as I am, and does not judge me or try to change me. I want warmth, compassion, and realness. Intelligence is a must. Also, I want to smile, laugh, and have fun. I am an emotional person, so I would like to be with someone who has empathy. In the past, I tend to let my heart open too fast, so I want to take it slow. Someone who is self-assured, has it together and has a life outside of the relationship is also essential. Love for adventures is also a must. I really hate dating games and that whole scene, so I tend write my own book. And if you like video games, that would be abnormally cool.

My sense of humor is so dry it makes the Sahara desert look like the tropics. I would describe most of my jokes as a not-joke without the not. I will make up fantastical stories that can not possibly be true, and wait for the person to realize they are not. Some people have associated this with lying, but my good friends know there is a fine line between what I will fantasize about and what I take seriously. But it really depends on what group of friends I'm with. I show a different side of my humor when I'm hanging out with my old buddies from the newsroom, when I'm hanging out with my friends from robotics and when I'm with the group of artists that made an art gallery with me years back.
